Breakfast with_SantaMADISONVILLE, KY (11/23/12) – Hopkins County Relay for Life (HCRL) is holding their first Breakfast with Santa event next Saturday December 1st at West Broadway School in Madisonville.

The fundraising event is one of the first for HCRL’s new fiscal year, which began in September.

Committee Fundraising Chair for HCRL Jeremy Smith has been involved with the organization for the past year and hopes to have more events, as often as one per month, as the season progresses.

Smith, who also works as a Universal Banker for US Bank, told SurfKY News that for a $5 fee at the door, children can enjoy breakfast and have a picture taken with the jolly old elf, with all proceeds going to HCRL.

There is no charge for adults accompanying the kids to the event, which will run from 9:00 AM until noon, but donations for breakfast will be greatly appreciated.

Pictures will be available for pickup from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 8th at Parkway Plaza Mall adjacent to Godfather’s Pizza, where HCRL’s Tree of Hope lighting ceremony will be underway (click here to read more about the Tree of Hope).
