HENDERSON, Ky. (12/18/13) - Second grade students in Mrs. Harper’s and Mrs. Jones’ classes at Cairo Elementary chose to collect and donate toys to Henderson’s F.C. Tucker Emge Realtor’s Toys for Tots program as their service learning project for the year.

Over 100 toys were collected and donated to those in need thanks to the students and other students within the school. Last week a representative from Sonoco Company, a global provider of packaging products and services located in Henderson, donated over $800 in toys to help Cairo Elementary students with their toy drive for Henderson’s F.C. Tucker Emge Realtor’s Toys for Tots program.

For more information contact Lindsey Harper, 2nd Grade Teacher at Cairo Elementary, at (270) 533-1286.
