WKU Hosts JROTC Topper Challenge

wku300BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (3/27/13) – About 90 Junior ROTC cadets from five high schools will participate in the WKU Army ROTC’s Topper Challenge on Friday (March 29).
 
The one-day event for JROTC units consists of multiple physical challenges and activities including a physical fitness test, combat fitness competition, timed one-rope bridge, land navigation/scavenger hunt and air rifle shoot.
 
Participating high schools are Allen County-Scottsville, Bowling Green, Graves County, McLean County and Muhlenberg County.
 
The Topper Challenge will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. Awards will be presented to the top overall team, top physical fitness male, top physical fitness female and top team in each event. All events will take place at the WKU campus.
