HENDERSON, KY - Kip Jackson, 48 of Henderson passed away 9:50 PM Monday September 3, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 29, 1964 in Henderson Co. to Cletus and Norma Jean ( Wilson) Jackson.

He had served in the U. S. Marines. He was an active member of NRA, Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association, Union County Beef Producers Board.

He is survived by his wife Jama Jackson of Henderson; Parents: Cletus and Norma Jean Jackson of Henderson; 2 Children: Trent Jackson of Henderson and Cullen Jackson of Henderson; 3 Sisters: Dawn DeWitt and husband John of Newburgh, Gay Griffin of Henderson, Kelly Kilgore and husband Randy of Henderson; 4 brothers: Keith Jackson and wife Gloria of Henderson, Brett Jackson and wife Diana of Henderson, Bart Jackson and wife Kim of Henderson, Nathan Jackson and companion Leanda of Henderson; Several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Friday September 7, 2012 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Dr. Phillip Basinger will officiate.

Friends may call from 4-8 PM Thursday September 6 and 9AM until service time at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
