BOWLING GREEN, KY - Norma Jean Roberts, age 68 of Bowling Green, Kentucky, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at 2:15 am at the Hospice Center of Southern Kentucky surrounded by her loving family.
She was born July 4, 1944 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to the late Youree Pat and Ruby Wilson. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Ann Wilson Roberts and two brothers, Howard and Mitchell Wilson. She was a CNA in both hospitals and several area nursing homes. She loved bowling, playing volleyball, and attending her granddaughter’s softball games. Her family and friends along with her church were very dear to her.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Homer Roberts of Bowling Green, son, Tim Graham and wife Christy of Bowling Green, daughter, Lori Roberts of Bowling Green, granddaughters, Tiffany Vincent and husband Jonathan of Chalybeate and Brittany Graham of Bowling Green, her first great grandson, Mason Vincent, expected to arrive January 23, 2013. She is also survived by several sisters and brothers–In-law , and aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 5 at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel and after 10 am Thursday at the Pine Grove United Baptist Church in Edmonson County where she was a member. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday at the church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
