BOWLING GREEN, KY - John Carson Orange, age 61, of Bowling Green, passed away Friday, September 7, 2012 at 3:00 am at his residence.
The Indianapolis, Indiana native was born October 31, 1950 to the late John Franklin and Frances Elizabeth Johnson Orange. Also preceded in death by his brother, Franklin Orange.
He was a disabled Tree Trimmer and farmer. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He is a member of the American Legion and United Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 12 at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel, with burial in Green River Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 ~ 9 p.m. Tuesday, September 11 at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Lina Bell Long Orange of Bowling Green. Daughter, Marcie Gail Orange of Clarksville, TN. Step-sons, Johnny Embry and wife Tina Marie of Leitchfield, and Lonnie Embry and wife Wilma of Glasgow. 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. His sisters, Margaret Mendoza, Wanda Orange both of Indiana and Gracie Cantrell and husband Kenneth of Bowling Green. Sister-In-Law, Gilda Orange of Morgantown, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
