He was born in Bowling Green, Kentucky on February 27, 1961 to the late Bobby Gene Blythe and Mary Carter Blythe of Mount Juliet, TN. He was a disabled Truck Driver. He loved to play jokes on his family and friends. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is also survived by his son; Bobby Blythe of Alvaton, and step sons, Brian and Chad Gregory; grandchildren, Krista Blythe, Joseph Finn, Jesse and James Estes , Kelsey, Kendall and Ethan Gregory; a sister, Debbie Hackett and husband Jerry Fair of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Bob Blythe and wife Dottie of Nashville, TN, and Tommy Blythe of Mount Juliet, TN; and several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Blythe.
A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 19 at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Friends may call on the family after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. David had requested to be cremated.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
