BOWLING GREEN, KY - Mazetta Keltner (Mozie) Hatcher, 91, of Bowling Green, KY passed away Thursday September 20, 2012 at her residence at 9:55 p.m.
She was born in Mell, KY October 10, 1920 and was the daughter of the late Thomas Alford and Montrie Blaydes Keltner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Thompson Hatcher, and her daughter, Sharon Kaye Hacker.
“Mozie” was a housewife and was a charter member of Manchester United Methodist Church in Manchester, KY and attended State Street United Methodist Church in Bowling Green, KY. She also was a member of Chapter D PEO.
Surviving is her son Dr. Ronald Hatcher (Elsie) of Bowling Green, KY, son-in-law Dr. William Douglas Hacker of Lexington, KY and two brothers George Thomas Keltner of Columbia, KY, Carl David Keltner (Virginia) of Glasgow, KY; five grandchildren, Lee Moore (John) of Bowling Green, KY, Tommy Hatcher (Nancy) of Atlanta, GA, William Douglas Hacker (Neeley) of Glendale, KY, Sharon Childers (Dr. Kyle) of Lexington, KY, and Millie Childers (Todd) of Corbin, KY. Ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. A special Thank-you to the caregivers who treated her like family: Lillie Mitchell, Berona Massey, Lisa Jones and Shirley Jackson.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 22 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel in Bowling Green, KY and 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. EDT Sunday, September 23 at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Local arrangements in Bowling Green have been entrusted to J. C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
