BOWLING GREEN, KY - Charles S. (Steve) Hittson, age 60, of Bonnieville, KY, passed away Sunday at 3:27 pm at the Caverna Hospital in Horse Cave, KY.
He was born in Bowling Green, KY on April 27, 1952 to Charles and Shirley Golden Hittson who survive. He was a cook at the American Legion in Bowling Green. He was an avid sports lover and coached several years, he also loved working, collecting old cars and riding motorcycles.
Survivors include his wife of 5 years, Teresa A. Watkins Hittson of Bonnieville; his parents, Charles and Shirley Golden Hittson of Bowling Green; son, Steven Wayne "Steve" Hittson and wife Tracy of Bowling Green; 2 step-daughters, Kimberly Edwards and husband Denis of Bonnieville, Laura Elmore and husband John of Horse Cave; grandchildren, Connor and Cadee Hittson; step-grandchildren, Jacob, Natalie and Noah Edwards and Evan Elmore, Corey and Casey Phillips; Sisters and Brothers, Barbara Board and husband Bobby, Danny Hittson and wife Karen, and Kathy Chandler and husband Chad, all 3 of Bowling Green, Vickie Storms and husband Oscar of Hadley. Several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews
Visitation will be 3 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 25 and after 9 a.m. Wednesday, September 26 at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel. Funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel with burial in the Camp Ground United Methodist Church Cemetery in Bonnieville, KY.
