MURRAY, KY - William Kendrick Robertson, 76, of Murray passed away September 28, 2012 at Lourdes Hospital.
Born January 25, 1936, in Herndon, KY, Mr. Robertson was a member of the Murray Seventh Day Adventist and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he served as a Navigator on B-52’s. He received his Bachelors degree from the University of Kentucky and his Masters from Murray State University and worked at the University of Kentucky, Department of Agriculture where he retired after 30 years. He remained an avid Wildcat fan.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Cote Robertson of Murray; two daughters, Rebecca Moore (Morgan) of Murray, Pamela Adams (Mike) of Nashville, TN; two sons, William Timothy Robertson (Nancy Dunn) of West Memphis, AR, Richard L. Robertson (LeAnn) of Murray; a sister, Nancy Lake of Hopkinsville; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Richard and Laura Killebrew Robertson; a brother, James Robertson and a grandson, Eric Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 2 at the Imes-Miller Funeral Home. Pastor Dennis Altrogge will officiate. Interment will follow at the Murray City Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors between 6-8 PM, Monday at the funeral home.
