The scene was then deemed safe and all fire units returned to station.

The child had gone missing in the area of 212 Cates St. Fire crew went en-route to 212 Cates St. and was told by Central Dispatch to disregard shortly thereafter. An officer on scene had confirmed that the child had been located. Engine 17 went available. No further action was taken. The fire crew returned to the station.
