HENDERSON, KY - Bernice Ann (Nunnelly) Knight, age 76, of Henderson, Ky., passed away at 7:55 AM, Monday, October 29, 2012, at Deaconess Hospice Care, Evansville, IN.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years: Isaac Jewell Knight, her mother: Lura Mae Alvey, father: Robert A. Nunnelly Sr., sister: Jackie Nunnelly, 2 brothers: James O. Nunnelly and Robert A. Nunnelly Jr.

Mrs. Knight received her Bachelor's Degree in nursing from the University of Evansville. She was passionate about her nursing and spent 6 years as a traveling nurse in Colorado and New Mexico.

Bernice will be greatly missed.

Survivors include: Daughters: Jewell Ann Knight Henderson, KY, Janet Sue (Jeff) Alsop Evansville, IN, Sherri Denise Long Panama City, FL, Brother: Roscoe "RJ" (Mildred) Shoulders Jr. Henderson, KY; Sister-In-Law: Dorothy Quinn Henderson, KY; Grandchildren: Christopher Burdon, Amy Burdon Bryant, Courtney Brooke Long, David J. Knight and Robert Isaac Duff; 5 Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Tapp Funeral Home, Henderson, Ky. Reverend Jack Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Henderson, Ky.

Friends may call from 2:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday at Tapp Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to: Deaconess Hospice.
