drive for_kids_coverHANSON, KY (10/31/12) – Hudson Toyota Chrysler helped raise $820 for Hanson Elementary School with Chrysler brand’s Drive for the Kids program.

The fundraising event was held on Saturday, September 22 in conjunction with Historic Downtown Hanson Annual Cruise-In and Arts & Crafts Festival.

The Hanson Elementary School PTO helped organize and staff the fund raising event.

Drivers earned a $10 contribution to the school by taking a brief test drive in the award winning Chrysler Town & Country minivan or Chrysler 300.

Drive for the Kids is a mutually beneficial program.

“We’re pleased to support our local schools, and enjoy demonstrating the Chrysler vehicles,” said Hudson Toyota Chrysler General Manager Brad Tyson.

“The driving participants were genuinely interested in the Chrysler vehicles,” said Hudson Sales Manager, Aaron Tyson.

“They wanted to see first-hand the advanced safety, technology, and economy features of both the minivan and 300 Sedan, and we are happy to raise extra dollars for the school.”

Assisting the Tysons with the check presentation were Hanson Principal Jon Wells, Assistant Principal Brandon McClain, and a group of Hanson Elementary Students.
