BOWLING GREEN, KY - Bailey Clemmons King, 87, of Bowling Green, KY formerly of Russeilville passed away Monday, October 29th, 2012 at Greenview Hospital at 7:47 am.
He was retired from Western KY University and a member of Rich Pond Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Grafton Gordon King and Olean Cassidy King and the husband of the late Thelma Brown King.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Charles King and two sisters Bessie King and Mary Edna Hawkins.
Survivors include two sisters, Nellie Doolie of Louisville and Martha Martin (Curtis) of Bowling Green, six sons, Ray (Donna), David (Sheila), Larry (Maxine), George Kent (Beverly), Terry (Karen), Kerry (Tina), three daughters, Patricia Humphrey (Larry), Vickie Robertson (Jetron), Linda Russell (Denny), all of Bowling Green, 17 grandchildren, Jennifer Bowen (George), Jill Etheridge (Shaun), Jamie Herrington (Chris), Ashley Loafman (Matt), Angela Kirby, Laura Cox (Chris), Michael (Kasey), Daniel (JJ), Wendy, Kristopher, Jamie, Matthew and Zachary King, Shane Humphrey (Jessica), Adam Humphrey (Abby), Alex Robertson and Tyler Russell, 12 great grandchildren, Baylee & Dallas Bowen, Cooper Loafman, Chelsea Kirby, Christina Baãder, Tyler Herrington, Tyler King, Morgan & Kaylee Humphrey, Danielle Lanham, Valli Ann & Jack Humphrey.
J.C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel is in charge of arrangements. A private family service is planned with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society.
