The young Trojans led from the opening tip and pulled away with each passing second. Grant Carter led WC with 18 points while Jon Stubblefield pitched in 16 points. Cole Hazelwood finished with eight points, seven from Jacob Main and six points by Tyler Smith. Hunter Davis and Landon Hawkins added two points each.

West Hopkins      42

Webster pulled away in the final quarter for the victory in Monday’s nightcap. Jacob Fritz led all scorers with 17 points. Zac Shoulders added 13 points while Hunter Hackney finished with 12. TraRon Simms scored seven points and Max McMain chipped in with five followed by three points from Justin Bumpus.

Union County    43

Webster prevailed in overtime in a hard-fought WKAC victory Thursday night, hosting the Braves in Sebree. Grant Carter again paced the Trojans with a season-high 20 points. Stubblefield turned in another solid performance with 13 points while Cole Hazelwood finished with eight points. Hunter Davis and Jacob Main added two points each.

Union County      15

The eighth grade Trojans made it a doubleheader sweep on Thursday, blasting the Braves for their second WKAC victory in four days. Max McMain paced the offensive attack with 12 points while Trey Wright added eight and six points from Zac Shoulders. Justin Bumpus finished with four points, followed by three points each from Jacob Fritz and Hunter Hackney. Robert Daughtery and Cole Hazelwood completed the barrage with two points apiece. Both Webster squads are back in action tonight (Thursday) traveling to Henderson North.

The Trojans will then participate in the annual Henderson South Holiday Classic this Friday and Saturday.
