The seventh grade squad suffered back-to-back defeats and dropped to the 8-5 on the young season. WC did pick up a pair of wins in the Adairville tourney along with the third-place trophy and then whipping West Hopkins on Monday night.

Hopkinsville    34

A very strong Lady Tiger squad gained the early lead and held off a WC rally last Monday night in Clay. Ashley Henry had the hot had for the Lady Trojans, finishing with 15 points. Hallie Gibson was also in doubles figures with 10 points. Kaylee Duncan added five and Emily Johnson chipped in with two points.

Hopkinsville    30

Maddie Duncan paced the eighth grade squad in Monday's nightcap, drilling 12 points. Hannah Pritchett finished with seven points while Kercey Hayes and Amber Short scored six points each. Christian Papineau and Brittany Smith added four points and Brittany Pabey completed the WC scoring with three points.

Webster County 28  (7th) 
Browning Springs 35

Both Webster squads jumped back into WKAC conference play on Thursday and the young Lady Trojans found the road rough in Madisonville. Ashley Henry again led WC in scoring with eight points while Danielle Morgan added seven points. Kaylee Duncan finished with five points, Hallie Gibson added four while Hannah Shanks and Emily Johnson scored two points each.

Browning Springs 37

Riding the hot shooting of Kercey hayes, Webster remained undefeated in WKAC play with a big win in Thursday's second contest. Hayes led all scorers with 17 points, followed by nine points each from Christian Papineau and Maddie Duncan and seven points from Hannah Pritchett. Brittany Pabey completed the Webster scoring with two points.

Kaylee Duncan sparked the easy win with 12 points while Hallie Gibson and Ashley Henry added four points each. Heather Kelsey finished with seven points. Emily Johnson pitched in three points followed by two points each from Hannah Shanks and Michala Knight.

University Heights 49

The Lady Trojans ran into a buzzsaw against a very talented Lady Blazers squad. Ashley Henry was the only Webster girl in double figures, posting 10 points. Kaylee Duncan added five points, Hallie Gibson four and Daniel Morgan three. Baggi Major completed the scoring with two points.

Russellville      23

The Webster squad topped off a very successful Saturday with another victory and the third-place trophy. Ashley Henry paced the attack with 15 points while Kaylee Duncan finished with 13. Emily Johnson added four points while Hallie Gibson, Heather Kelsey and Daniel Morgan finished with two points each. Kaylee Duncan and Hallie Gibson were both selected to the All-Tournament team.

Olmstead        5

Webster began it's undefeated tournament run with an easy win Saturday morning against Olmstead. Christian Papineau led the way with nine points, followed by eight points from Hannah Pritchett, four from Kercey Hayes and three from Brittany Pabey. Cassidy Thomas and Maddie Duncan scored two points each while Amber Short added one free throw.

Russellville      14

A very balanced scoring attack and strong defense was the key in Webster's rout over Russellville in Saturday's second game. Amber Short led the charge with nine points while Brittany Pabey and Hannah Pritchett finished with seven points each. Maddie Duncan and Christian Papineau scored six points apiece while Jala Woolfolk added four points. Kercey Hayes and Cassidy Thomas completed the onslought with two points.

University Heights 35

WC's only real test in the tourney came from the Lady Blazers but the Lady Trojan's stiffling defense proved to be the difference. Christian Papineau led all scorers with 12 points while Kercey Hayes, Madison Townsend, Amber Short and Brittany Pabey finished with six points each. Jala Woolfolk and Brittany Smith chipped in with four points apiece while Maddie Duncan and Cassidy Thomas had two points each. Hannah Pritchett completed the scoring with one free throw.

Webster dominated the All-Tournament with four selections. Christian Papineau was voted Most Valuable Player of the tournament while Kercey Hayes, Brittany Pabey and Hannah Pritchett were also named to the squad.

West Hopkins    14

It was another easy win for the WC seventh grade squad Monday night in Rabbit Ridge, picking up a crucial WKAC victory. The entire team got into the scoring column with Kaylee Duncan's seven points leading the way. Heather Kelsey and Daniel Morgan pitched-in six points each while Emily Johnson, Hallie Gibson and Gabbi Major scored four points apiece. Kassandra Hinton added three points while Brooklyn Drury and Michala Knight completed the scoring with two points.
