Gobbler Classic Run Schedule
The annual 'Gobbler Classic' Run, sponsored by the Providence Chamber of Commerce, has been set for Oct. 30 beginning at 9 a.m. at Westerfield Park. To pre-register for the race call Shorty Prow at 836-4768.

Toys for Tots Golf Scramble Set
"Tee Up for Tots" four-person golf scramble has been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 18 at the Providence Municipal Golf & Recreation Center. There will be shotgun start at 1 p.m. and the tourney is limited to the first 20 teams to sign-up. Entry fee is $160 per team and cart is included. Entry forms are available at the Pro Shop, Providence Fire Deptartment, city building or by calling Keith Farrell at 635-3801.

Lady Trojan Soccer Fundraiser
The WCHS Lady Trojan soccer team is selling raffle tickets to see the Tennessee Titans play the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Oct. 24. Tickets may be purchased at soccer and football games. Drawing will be held Oct. 2. For more information or to buy a ticket call 639-5092.

Adult Football Passing Tourney Set

There will be an adult football 7-on-7 passing tournament at Rocket Stadium in Marin, KY., on Saturday, Oct. 16. It will be for anyone out of high school with an unlimited roster. Cost is $150 per team with games guaranteed. For more informatin contact Denis Hodge at 704-0643.

Glowball Golf Tourney in Providence
Providence Municipal Golf Course will be hosting a 4-person Glowball Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 25. Front-nine play begins at 3 p.m. with potluck dinner to follow. Back-nine play begins at dark. $160 per team includes one glowball and cart. Call 667-5365 for more information.

4-Man Scramble in Providence
Providence Municipal Golf Course will be hosting a 4-man scramble Oct. 9-10. Entry fee is $200 per team and carts are included. Call 667-5365 for more information.
