HOPKINS COUNTY, KY—At approximately 9:40pm, July 17th, the Nebo Volunteer Fire Department called in for back up on an “involved” residential fire.
When iSurf News arrived on the scene of the fire-engulfed home, which was located at the end of Shade Tree Rd. in Nebo, KY, members of both the Nebo and Manitou Fire Departments were hard at work trying to extinguish the flames. In addition, members of both the Anton and Dixon Fire Departments arrived on the scene just after 10:45pm with extra manpower and a tanker of water.
However, both the Assistant Chief with Nebo Volunteer Fire Department, Charles Marks, as well as Manitou Volunteer Fire Department’s Lieutenant, Michael Walker, were unable to make many official remarks as to why the fire had started.
It was clear that the blaze had reached throughout the home, causing extensive damages, yet members of the involved fire departments stated that no one had been home when the fire began and that there were no injuries.
iSurf News will bring you more information on the occurrence as it becomes available.
