According to an incident report by MPD Ptl. Nathan Lutz, a 27 year-old Michigan resident named Steve Dolliver was stopped at Railraod St. in his 2010 Ford Focus, waiting to turn onto North Main St.
Yet, when he began to pull out, he struck 51 year-old, Tammy Walker, on her left side.
Tammy Walker had been northbound on North Main St. and was in the process of crossing Railraod St. when the incident occurred. As Mr. Dolliver stuck her, she was knocked out into North Main St.
Once on the scene, the Madisonville Police Department was assisted by the Madisonville Fire Department and Medical Center Ambulance. After being moved onto a gurney and placed inside the ambulance, Mrs. Walker was transported to the Regional Medical Center ER and treated for possible injuries.
