As Mr. David Thompson told iSurf News via email, “Many of us know Steve as a man of God, a hard worker, an avid motorcyclist, and a supporter of many biker community events. This weekend’s Steve Ayer Poker Run Benefit will be an opportunity to return the blessing! And even if you can’t make the event, you can still help by spreading the word, encouraging businesses to support the event, and by praying for Steve and Vicki. We serve a mighty God, and nothing is beyond his ability. We must all believe in total healing and recovery for Steve.”

In addition, Mr. Thompson also explained the specifics of the Poker Run Benefit.

As he explained, everyone (regardless of whether you are on a bike or in a car) is welcome to come and check out the event. Attendants of the Poker Run will also have a chance to win prize drawings, “Best & Worst Hands” games, and a 50/50 Jackpot. Music and food will be available at the event as well.

The Poker Run Benefit will begin with a registration/sign-in period from 8-10:30am in the parking lot of Abundant Grace Fellowship Church (360 South Main St., Madisonville, KY). The first bike will be leaving at 9am, while the last bike will need to be out by 11am. Additionally, the last bike will need to be back in by 2pm. For each registered bike/driver, there will be a charge of $10, whereas bikes with an additional rider will be charged $15.

"All the proceeds raised from the Poker Run will be supplemented to Steve and Vicki Ayer’s income as they overcome Steve’s fight with cancer," says Mr. Thompson.
