HOPKINS COUNTY, KY—Due to new construction efforts at Madisonville’s North Main St. McDonald’s location, patrons of the fast-food server may encounter a slightly longer wait for service over the next few days.

Though employees of the McDonald’s location were unable to give any information directly to iSurf News in regards to the new construction—such as how long it will be before the construction is completed—iSurf staff members have learned that the business may be installing a “double” drive-thru.  Additionally, the location may be removing certain landscaping areas to provide more parking spaces as well.

While the construction has been ongoing for at least 2 days now, there is no official word on when the project will be finished.

As of this time, the drive-thru is still in operation, yet traffic leaving the location may run into a slight delay as there is only one lane available for drive-thru customers and through traffic alike.

iSurf News will bring you the latest information on the situation when, and if, more information becomes available.
