With a massive steel frame now standing approximately 2 stories above the lot adjacent to both the First United Methodist Church and the Madisonville Fire Department’s Station 1, progress on the new construction is hard to miss when driving through the area.
Though the completion date is estimated to be just over a year from now (around February 2012) according to officials at the Hopkins County Judge-Executive’s office, everything seems to be running on schedule at the moment.
“Steel is starting to go up now, so they are definitely making more progress,” said Judge-Executive Donnie Carroll’s Administrative Assistant, Kim Blue. “It’s going to be so nice when it’s done.”
Blue was kind enough to send iSurf News the latest renderings of the Hopkins County Justice Center by JKS Architects as well, which can be viewed by clicking the slide-show player attached below this article. Pictures of current A&K Construction efforts on the Justice Center are also included within the slide-show.
