As Co-Director with the recently formed Jodi Powers Search & Rescue Technologies team, Joel Brinkley, told iSurf News, the vigil will be taking place on Continental Drive in Madisonville this upcoming Thursday, December 9th, at 4:45pm.

“Everybody is going to bring out candles and they may tell stories about Mr. Hale, but it’s mostly for prayer,” said Brinkley. “When we had a vigil for Jodi Powers, the candles stayed lit for a couple of weeks until it rained and we couldn’t keep them burning anymore.”

Though the public is encouraged to attend the event, those unable to make it to the vigil can help out by donating foodstuffs or making a monetary donation via the Search & Rescue Team at any time. To make a contribution, please contact either Joel Brinkley at (270) 621-0347 or Scott Heltsley at (270) 543-7522. They may also be found on www.facebook.com.

Additionally, the Jodi Powers Search & Rescue Team is currently looking for volunteers to help in conducting a larger-scale ground search this upcoming Saturday, December 11th. So, if you’re interested in helping out, you may contact Joel Brinkley or Scott Heltsley via the contact info listed above.

If you, or anyone you know, has information as to the whereabouts of Rodney “Bo” Hale, please contact the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department by phone at (270) 825-7013 or pay them a visit in person at 56 North Main St. in Madisonville (across the street from Madisonville City Hall).

iSurf News will bring you the latest info on this case as it arises, so remain posted.
