hyman arrestOWENSBORO, Ky. (11/22/17) — An Owensboro man is in jail after police say he is responsible for seriously injuring his 5-week-old child.

Owensboro Police Department was contacted by the Department of Community Based Services about a possible assault involving an infant. It was reported the child had sustained a serious head injury and was transferred to Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville.

Yesterday, OPD detectives charged Myles Hyman, 24 of Heartwood Court with first-degree assault involving his child.

First-degree assault is a Class B felony.

Hyman is being held in the Daviess County Detention Center on a $100,000 full cash bond.
