HENDERSON, KY - Flossie Marie Rednour, 92, Henderson, passed away at 1:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at her home under the care of St. Anthony's Hospice.
She was a member of Haven Pentecostal Church, where she was one of the most spiritual saints. She loved visiting friends and family. Mrs. Rednour loved to work in her garden and canned a lot of food well into her 80s.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Howard "Red" Rednour; her parents, Millard and Dora Early; four sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include her special caregiver, Ava Marie Bartley; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tapp Funeral Home. The Rev. Phillip Waggoner will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony's Hospice.
