HENDERSON, KY - David Pearson Oliver, 67, Henderson, formerly of Morganfield, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, at Lucy Smith King Care Center.

He was an associate minister at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church in Morganfield.

Survivors include his wife of eight years, Saundra Oliver; one daughter, Sandra Stone of Owensboro; five sons, David Oliver and Courtney Oliver, both of Fort Worth, Texas, Darrell Foster of Indiana, Charles Foster of Sturgis and Robert Foster of Henderson; one sister, Henrietta Wilson of Morganfield; two brothers, William Cortez Oliver of Evansville and Bryan Hatchett of Henderson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Macedonia Freewill Baptist Church. The Rev. James Cole will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield and after 10 a.m. at the church.
