HOPKINS COUNTY, KY (2/7/12) – The Sportsmen for Christ group out of Hopkins County, KY is currently accepting applications for children that might want to take part in the Hunting for Hope event.
 
According to Sportsmen for Christ Administrator, Loman Scarbrough, this event is an annual deer hunt set for children who have been diagnosed with cancer or other diseases and disabilities. There is absolutely no charge for this.
 
Parents and/or legal guardians of children with disabilities may apply for the hunt by going to the Sportsmen for Christ website at http://www.wkoutdoors.com/sportsmen-for-christ.php and printing out the application. Fill out the details and write up a short explanation of why the child you are nominating should take part in this event.
 
Nominees should be under the age of 18. All applications must be submitted by Sept. 1, 2012.
