HOPKINS COUNTY, KY (2/9/12) - The Madisonville Lions Club will be accepting nominations for their annual Man and Woman of the Year Awards. The awards have been given annually by the Madisonville Lions Club since 1945 to persons who have made a significant contribution to the community through their civil, private, or volunteer efforts.
Nomination letters should be mailed to the Madisonville Lions Club, P. O. Box 39, Madisonville, KY 42431, and must be received by Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
The recipients will be announced in early March; the awards banquet recognizing the Man and Woman of the Year will be held later in the spring.
