Miss Pre Teen

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (7/30/16) — The 13th Annual Miss Pre-Teen Hopkins County Fair Pageant took place on Friday evening in the Eddie Ballad Convention Center.

Twenty-three pre-teen beauties vied for the title as the crowd cheered them on.

They were judged in T-shirt/shorts, interview and evening gown, with interviews being completed off-stage prior to the T-shirt/shorts and evening gown competition.

Kendall Wen Nuan Warren was crowned 2016 Miss Pre-Teen Hopkins County and will represent Hopkins County for the state title in October in Louisville.

Warren, 11, was sponsored by her parents, Jason and Paige Warren.

First runner-up was Madison Danielle Bennett and Hilary Devon Curneal was second runner-up.

The 2016 Miss Congeniality award went to Brooklyn Claire Barnett.

Pageant coordinators were Alyssa Browning and Kathy Carver. Mistress of ceremonies was Pamela Hight-Todd and scoring was by Lori Oglesby, CPA.

A special thank you was given to the Hopkins County – Madisonville Fair Board, Mark of Distinction for stage décor and queen’s bouquet, Lauren Burden Photography, Dennis McDaniel Custom Video Taping, Darrell Matheny for audio/sound, Kellie Cardwell Heady for stage chandelier, Country Cupboard for providing dinner for the judges, Rachel Carver, Tina Peyton and Chris and Debbie Knight.

Sponsors for the event were Country Cupboard, All Occasions, S&S Rentals, Platinum Events and House of Style.
