MADISONVILLE, KY - Randolph Wilson Osburn, 73, of Madisonville, KY, passed away Wednesday January 25, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
He was born March 10, 1938 in Hopkins County to the late Randolph T. Osburn and Irene Alsop Osburn. He was also preceded in death by one son, Keith Harrison.
Mr. Osburn was a warehouse supervisor at Peabody Coal Company, retiring after 33 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Wice Harrison Osburn; one daughter, Karen Harrison; one son, Kevin (Teresa) Harrison; three sisters, Betty Lansden of Madisonville, Fannie Burns of Kilgore, TX, and Bea (Greg) Creasey of Beulah, KY; two grandchildren, Cory (Cathi) Harrison of Paducah, KY, and Becky (Jeff) Hughes of Newburgh, IN; and five great grandchildren, Elizabeth Young, Isabelle Harrison, J.D. Harrison, Ellie Hughes, and Ava Hughes, along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 29, 2012, at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Hughes officiating and Greg Gaddis assisting. Burial will follow in Green Chapel Cemetery in Muhlenberg County.
Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Saturday and after 10:00 A.M. until the service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Hughes, Cory Harrison, Roger Townsend, Paul Wice, Jason Creasey, Tommy Blanchard, Troy Clark, and Tommy Langsden. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin Harrison, Greg Creasey, Charlie Gillis, Ray McClain, and Ronnie Skinner.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grapevine Baptist Church or in the form of Gideon bibles.
