MADISONVILLE KY - Alma Gunther, 79, of Madisonville, KY passed away at 4:55 p.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.

She was born on November 9, 1932 in Madisonville, KY to the late Bertha and Clarence Stevens. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Gunther and her son, William Thomas Gunther.

She is survived by three daughters, Teresa Martin of Hanson, Marie Adams of Madisonville and Kathy Bean of Bremen, KY; two sisters, Polly Burden of Madisonville and Ruby Jones of Providence, KY; her brother, William Stevens of Mortons Gap, KY; thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 13, 2012 in Olive Branch Cemetery in Hanson with Bro. Chris Goodman officiating. Burial to follow. There will be no visitation. Harris Funeral Home in Madisonville is in charge of arrangements.
