Kathleen Gray Restau, 89

 

HOPKINSVILLE, KY - Kathleen Gray Restau, 89, passed away at 11:53a.m., Friday, January 27, 2012, at Christian Health Center.

A native of Elkton, Kentucky, she was born on June 7, 1922, the daughter of the late Frank Gray and Lucy Tatum Gray.

She was a member of First Christian Church, the Christian County Democratic Women’s Club, and a volunteer for the Salvation Army, and was a Pink Lady at Jennie Stuart Medical Center. She retired from the Christian County Court Clerk’s Office where she served as a Deputy Clerk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Restau, and her daughter Molly Morris.

Survivors include two sons, John Restau of Hopkinsville, and Buddy Harris of Evansville, IN; a sister, Elizabeth Eddy, Franklin, TN; and two grandchildren, Jamie Restau and Nicole Restau.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Gray Cemetery with Rev. Nathan Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville.

Contributions may take the form of donations to First Christian Church Salvation Army Fund.
