HOPKINSVILLE, KY - Kathy Ann Johnson, age 59, passed away Monday, evening February, 6, 2012 at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville of natural causes.

Mrs. Johnson was born March 31, 1952 in Todd County. She was the daughter of James V. and Louise A. Wells. She was a devoted housewife.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her father, as well as two brothers, Raleigh Wells and James Vernon Wells Jr. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Phillip Bradley Johnson.

She is survived by her husband Larry Johnson of Elkton, one daughter, Teresa Johnson Gibbs of Hopkinsville, one son, Larry Wayne Johnson of Elkton, her mother, Louise A. Wells of Elkton. She also survived by one sister, Rita Oyler of Elkton and three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The Johnson family will be receiving friends at the Todd County Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00. Funeral service is scheduled to be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:00 in the Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with Bro. Lucian Moore officiating. Interment to follow at the Stokes Chapel Cemetery.
