HOPKINSVILLE, KY - R.W. Keller, 90, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a short illness.
A native of Trigg County, KY, he was born March 17, 1921, the son of the late Emery Keller and Lola Stewart Keller. He was an L.P.N. having retired from Western State Hospital. Mr. Keller was the first male state president of the Kentucky L.P.N. Association, he was a Kentucky Colonel and a Member and Deacon of Sinking Fork Baptist Church. His wife Mary Belle Cravens Keller passed away in 2011.
Survivors include a son, Roy Keller and his wife Christi, Hopkinsville. Two daughters, Betty Taylor and her husband Jeff, Owensboro, KY., and Anna Lea Shelton and her husband Wallace, Hopkinsville, KY. Five Grandchildren, Four Great Grandchildren, and Three Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery.
