Online Advertising Sales Job Description - An online sales job will involve a lot of customer interaction, computer use and a great deal of telephone contact with your customer. This is an independent contractor position that allows you to work on your own pace.

Responsibilities
•Responsibilities of online advertising sales representatives include initiating contact with potential advertisers, maintaining relationships with existing customers and explaining the advertising opportunities offered by SurfKY News Group.

 
Customer Interaction
•You will need to maintain contact with prospective advertisers, as well as past & current advertisers. You will be interacting mostly through door to door sales, email & telephone. You will be required to make appointments with interested clients & present SurfKY’s services

 
Follow-up
•You will keep accurate records and details on clients whom you interacted with who did not buy your product. You will be responsible for all follow-up methods, such as sending out email, regular mail or following up with phone calls.
  
Job Duties
•The job description of a sales associate revolves around promoting and selling online advertising. You will be required to make cold calls on customers, e-mail special offers to potential clients and conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations to market the product line.
 
Qualifications
•Sales experience is preferred, but is not necessary. You will need communication skills, computer knowledge, Online advertising representatives, like other sales representatives, must be able to cold call. That is, in order to increase advertising sales, they must place phone calls or visit offices of potential clients unannounced in order to establish new business relationship.
