KENTUCKY (2/2/12) – Citizens across the country have sat on the edge of their seats this morning, nervously awaiting the word from the famed Pennsylvania groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil.
As fate would have it, Phil spotted his shadow this morning before a massive crowd in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
Although this news is not what most local Kentucky citizens want to hear, one must take into account that we are currently in the winter season, with 60 degree days. Six more weeks of weather such as this is not such a bad thing.
This morning’s event marks the 126th year of celebrating Groundhog Day.
