MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY (2/1/12) – Greenville residents, Dr. Brian and Megan Chaney, were recently recognized by EF Foundation for Foreign Study, for their strong commitment to high school student exchange, during a weekend in Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
EF Foundation for Foreign Study is the leader in high school exchange, bringing more students to the United States each year than any other high school exchange program. In 2012, EF Foundation international exchange coordinators placed nearly 3,000 exchange students from 25 countries with host families across the United States.
The Chaney family, along with other international exchange coordinators and EF Foundation’s full-time professional staff, are responsible for matching the right students with the right host families, enrolling them in high school and providing students, schools and host families with ongoing guidance and support throughout the year-long exchange experience.
“It was so exciting to go to Disney,” said Chaney. “It was a great opportunity to meet up with my colleagues from across the country and celebrate another great year of exchange.”
