MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY (2/2/12) - The District 6 - High School Governor’s Cup competition was held on Jan. 28.
Muhlenberg County High School placed First overall in the Final Standings, with a total score of 54.5. Second Place went to Madisonville North Hopkins HS with 47.5 points and Hopkins County Central HS won Third Place with 20 points.
The academic competition consists of several events including Mathematics Assessment, Science Assessment, Composition, Social Studies Assessment, Language Arts Assessment, Arts & Humanities Assessment, as well as team competitions Future Problem Solving Team and Quick Recall.
