MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY (2/4/12) - On Tuesday, Jan. 31, The Muhlenberg County branch of the American Red Cross held a free disaster education class at the Central City Rotary Club.
Twenty individuals attended the meeting which covered the topic of Winter Storm Safety. Guest speaker and presenter of the disaster education class was Red Cross Muhlenberg County Branch Manager, Terri Griffin (pictured with Central City Rotary Club President, Doris Jones).
Regularly scheduled free disaster education classes are sponsored by the Felix Martin, Jr. Foundation and the Muhlenberg County Branch of the American Red Cross, in cooperation with both the Central City and Greenville Libraries, Emergency Management, Fire Association, local churches, and Fiscal Court.
Free smoke detectors are provided for all disaster class attendants.
