MUHLENBERG COUNTY, KY - James C. Durall, 85 of Beechmont, KY died Saturday morning January 28, 2012 at 5:52 am in the Muhlenberg Community Hospital after several months illness. He was born on September 1, 1926 in McNary, KY the son of James Preston Durall and Elsie “Joe” Rolley Durall. He was a welder for Graver Tank in East Chicago, IN for 30 years, retiring in 1981. He was an Army Veteran serving in WWII in Japan and the Pacific Theater. He was a member of Drakesboro Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Alvena Dillinder.
He is survived by: His wife of 66 years, Hazel Johnson Durall of Beechmont, KY; Two Sons,
Kenneth Edward (Kathy) Durall of Hammond, IN and Jeffrey Lynn (Nancy) Durall of Indianapolis, IN; Two Daughters, Nordica Dee (Ronald) Fedor of Gatlinburg, TN and Jacquelyn Diane Durall of Crown Point, IN; Seven Grandchildren; Six Great Grandchildren; One Sister, Francis Rice of Madisonville, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 11:00 am from Gary’s Funeral Home by Reverend Tommy Stovall. Burial will be held in Yeargins Chapel Cemetery in Graham, KY.
Friends may call on Monday, January 30, 2012 between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville and on Tuesday after 9:00 am. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.garysfuneralhome.net
