Ruthell McGehee, 92 of Greenville, KY died Sunday morning, January 29, 2012 at 4:07 am in the Belle Meade Nursing Home in Greenville after a lengthy illness.  She was born on January 31, 1919 in Clifty, KY the daughter of William Edwards and Nannie Latham Edwards.  She worked for the Muhlenberg Community Hospital as a cook until retirement and was a member of the Jernigan’s Chapel Methodist Church in Greenville. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Cecil McGehee in 1995, daughter Carolyn Clements in 2006, son Roger McGehee in 2011, and grandson Gary McGehee in 2010.

She is survived by: Three sons, Reginald (Doris) McGehee of Greenville, KY, Drexel (Brenda) McGehee of Greenville, KY, and Cleon (Dorothy) McGehee of Mountain Home, AR; One daughter, Novella Sue (Billy) Beadnell of Greenville, KY; Ten grandchildren; Nineteen great grandchildren; and Six great-great  Grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 11:00 am at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY by Reverend Kenneth McGehee with burial to follow in Woodland Cemetery in Greenville, KY.

Friends may call on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, her birthday, between 5:00pm and 8:00 pm at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY and on Wednesday after 9:00 am.  Online condolences to the family may be made at www.garysfuneralhome.net
