GREENVILLE, KY - Mr. Shellie Ray Garrett, 91 of Greenville, KY died on Friday night, January 13, 2012 at 9:15 pm in the Lucy Smith King Care Center Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY after a brief illness. He was born on May 14, 1920 in Greenville, KY the son of Bob and Annett Garrett. He was a WWII veteran serving in the South Pacific and Japan. He was an active member of New Paradise Baptist Church in Greenville and was a Gideon. He was the owner and operator of Greenville Interior Decorating for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Nola Mazine Cary Garrett, wife Electa Lee Smith Garrett , granddaughter Janet Garrett, brothers Joe Garrett, Odell Garrett and Sisters, Lonell Garrett, Estelle Cook.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 11:00 am from New Paradise Baptist Church in Greenville, KY by Reverend Tim Adcock. Burial will be held in Friendship Cemetery in Greenville, KY with military honors.
Friends may call on Sunday, January 15, 2012 between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville, KY and on Monday after 10:00 am at New Paradise Baptist Church in Greenville.
