OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/8/13) – This is the Sixth in a series of columns submitted to SurfKY News from the youth of Majesty Christian Academy in Owensboro, KY. This article, authored by DeAndrae Dillard, speaks on his passion for his school.

What school do your children go to? Is it one of the schools in the area, such as Burns Middle, Owensboro High School, Estes, or Sorgho? I’d like to introduce you to my school, Majesty Christian Academy. This school has taught me about Christ, and I’ve learned that I CAN have the Holy Spirit living on the inside of me. The teachers are very kind and the students are friendly. I love my school!

The first time I came here, I was scared. I didn’t know what I was supposed to do. But, I got over that very quickly. I met new friends who helped me out. I loved it when I first met the kids and all of the teachers. Everyone was super nice.

We have really great classes that prepare you for life… like when you get older and start looking for a job.

I hope that you have been blessed to be in a school like mine. If not, I hope that you get to be someplace like Majesty. God bless you all!
