Cadiz Police Reports – March 13, 2013

CADIZ POLICE DEPT 300CADIZ, Ky. (3/13/13) – The following is your update on Law Enforcement activity courtesy of the Cadiz Police Department.
 
On March 10, 2013, Cadiz Police Officials arrested 25-year-old Eric J. Howard of Apple Drive. Officer Randy Clark went to 22 Cunningham Avenue on an investigation regarding another case. Howard was at the residence and had two active Trigg County District Court arrest warrants for failing to pay $964 in court and fines and restitution. When Officer Clark attempted to handcuff Howard, he actively resisted and had to be placed on the ground to affect the arrest. In addition to the warrants, Howard was charged with resisting arrest.
 
Cadiz Police arrested Eric M. Meador, 36, of 1837 Freeman Road North, Cadiz. Elizabeth Meador told Officer Randy Clark that during a child custody exchange in the parking lot of Daily’s Market, Meador and her estranged husband Eric got into an argument during which time Eric Meador shoved Elizabeth Meador down into the floor area of a pickup truck. Eric Meador was charged with Assault – 4th Degree.
