wheels thrills 300CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (7/10/13) – So, you think you have the “glitziest” golf cart around? Perhaps you cruise the links in the most redneck 18-hold monster golf pickup ever?

The Central City Tourism Commission wants you to bring your cart, on a trailer, to the Wheels and Thrills show to compete in several categories for the most original golf cart on Saturday, July 20. Among the many awards being presented, there will be Most Unique, Most Patriotic and Ugliest.

Other fun events will include:
• Golf Care and Side-by-side Competition
• A Corn Hole tourney
• DUI simulator and obstacle course (provided by the Central City Police Dept.)
• Child fingerprinting and fire ladder truck
• Special Kids area with inflatables and games
• Food and vending booths
• Free live entertainment

It will be a full evening of cart-o-mania, with registration beginning at 4:30 PM. No ATV’s will be allowed. All carts and side-by-sides must be brought in on trailers.

Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the family fun.
