arrested jonesMUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (11/24/13) — After KSP Troopers made a traffic stop in Drakesboro, a Bremen man was arrested and jailed Saturday, Nov. 23.

According to a Kentucky State Police report, Troopers Jon McGehee and Jack Fortney stopped a 1998 Chevrolet pickup truck and initiated a sobriety tests of its driver at about 6:46 p.m. After a series of field sobriety tests, the driver was placed under arrest.

Upon further investigation, Danny A. Jones, 47, was charged for speeding 14 MPH over the limit, failure to wear seat belts, operating a motor vehicle under the influence (aggravating circumstances), possession of a controlled substance, first degree, first offense (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
