According to a Muhlenberg Sheriff's Department report, Sgt. Shannon Albro responded to 230 Brick Street in Graham in reference to the incident Friday, July 4. The victim told Albro that she and her boyfriend had gone to the residence to inquire about items for sale.
The report said the victim said no one answered after she knocked on the door, and she returned to her vehicle. A man came outside holding a shotgun and told the couple to leave and not return. He then allegedly fired the shotgun, the report said.
When the victim reported the incident she said she believed another man was also inside the residence and that both men were intoxicated.
After an investigation, deputies served a search warrant at the residence and located the male suspect and a 12-gauge Mossberg shotgun. They also discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the home.
Albro charged Eric Fuqua, 35, with first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Fuqua was lodged in the Muhlenberg Detention Center.Det. Wade Griggs and Deputy B.W. DeArmond assisted in the investigation.
