FRANKFORT, KY (2/16/12) - U.S. Rep. Ed Whitfield, (KY-01), Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Energy and Power, discussed the benefits of building the Keystone XL pipeline today during debate on the House floor.
In his comments, Congressman Whitfield said, “The Keystone Pipeline has been a topic of discussion in America for the past few years. It will create tens of thousands of jobs.
It ultimately will bring nearly a million barrels of oil a day from Canada to the United States.
The pipeline is a win, win, win for job creation modernizing the nation’s infrastructure and ultimately helping to lower gasoline prices in America.”
