FRANKFORT, KY (3/26/12) – Safety professionals from all areas of the workforce will gather at the Galt House in Louisville May 8-11, 2012, for the 28th Governor’s Safety and Health Conference and Exhibition.
The conference is sponsored by the Kentucky Labor Cabinet and the Kentucky Safety and Health Network Inc., (KSHN) whose membership includes those with an interest in occupational safety and health.
“The conference assists safety professionals – from construction managers and contractors to occupational health nurses and practitioners and others – in updating their skills and knowledge and networking with other Kentucky workers whose job it is to ensure a safe working environment within their workplaces,” said Labor Cabinet Secretary Mark Brown.
This year’s conference features 48 workshops focusing on state-of-the-art techniques, current issues and trends in workplace safety and health; and the state’s largest health and safety product exposition.
Early-bird registration is $450 and includes a KSHN membership. To register online, visit the network’s website at www.kshn.net. A schedule of events and workshop details also are available on the website. You also may call 502-564-2719 for more information.
