FRANKFORT, KY (9/30/12) – Registration continues for the 36th Governor’s Conference on Energy and the Environment to be held Oct. 8-9 at the Hyatt Regency, 311 South 4th Street in downtown Louisville.
State energy and environment experts and business leaders will discuss a wide range of topics including Kentucky’s energy future and forces that are shaping the energy landscape; federal air regulations; and an industry roundtable that will present concerns and vision from a business perspective on issues of energy affordability, sustainability and linkages with economic prosperity.
Other topics to be discussed include the future of natural gas; university research and development; bioproduct developments; and trends in Kentucky’s environment.
To register, visit the Energy and Environment Cabinet’s website at http://eec.ky.gov/Pages/conference.aspx. The cost is $200 for the full conference; $125 for Day One and $100 for Day Two.
The conference includes an exhibit hall for vendors wishing to display energy and environment-related products and services. Vendors may also register and pay online at http://eec.ky.gov/Pages/conference.aspx. The cost of a booth is $300 and includes one full conference registration.
